Cookie Policy

What cookies AIGiner uses and how you can manage them by category. Last updated: 26 October 2026.

This is a courtesy translation provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the legally binding text.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your browser when you visit them. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as your privacy preferences or the state of a form, in order to improve your browsing experience.

There are various ways to classify cookies: by origin (first-party or third-party), by duration (session or persistent), and by purpose (necessary, functional, analytical, or marketing). At AIGiner we make very limited use of cookies, always prioritizing user privacy and following the AEPD's guidelines.

2. Types of cookies by purpose

We group cookies into four categories. Necessary cookies always load; the others only load if you give your explicit consent. We also measure visits with a cookie-free tool (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that needs no consent and is explained below.

Necessary cookies · Always active

Strictly essential to provide the service you asked for, or they store a choice you make yourself. They do not require your consent under Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), which exempts from consent the storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user. The GDPR's legitimate interest is not a valid exception to consent for storing information on your device: the exception is that one, and only that one.

  • aiginer-consent, stores your consent choice per category, with its date. It is not a cookie: it is a localStorage entry that is never sent to any server. It lasts 24 months; after that, or if we change what sits behind a category, we ask you again.
  • aiginer-idioma, remembers the language you choose (value es or en). First-party cookie, 1 year. It is only written when you choose a language in the site footer or in the language notice: it is a preference you ask for, which is why it is exempt from consent. If you do not choose, it is not created.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, anti-bot protection on the contact and audit forms. It leaves no cookie on aiginer.com: it runs in a frame from challenges.cloudflare.com and does not track across sites or profile the user.
  • __cf_bm, from Cloudflare. Tells human traffic from automated traffic to protect the site. Cloudflare sets it at the network edge when its anti-bot protection acts on a request. Third-party cookie, 30 minutes.

Functional cookies · Opt-in · none currently in use

These would enable optional experience enhancements (embedded videos, third-party widgets, visual preferences you do not expressly ask for). We currently do not use any functional cookies: the language cookie is a choice you make yourself and is among the necessary ones. The category exists in case we add others in the future, in which case they would only load with your explicit consent.

Analytics cookies · Opt-in · Google Analytics 4

If you accept the "analytics" category in the cookie notice, we activate Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). If you do not accept it, its script is not loaded and your browser does not contact Google: there is nothing to block. Activation uses Consent Mode v2 in basic mode.

It serves one purpose only: aggregate statistics on how the website is used (page views, where you come from, general device type) so we can improve it. No advertising, no remarketing, no Google Signals, no granular location or device data, no User-ID. GA4 does not log or store your IP address.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR and Article 22.2 LSSI-CE). You can withdraw it at any time from /gestor-cookies; withdrawing it deletes the _ga cookies.

  • _ga, first-party cookie on the aiginer.com domain (written by Google's script). Tells visitors apart pseudonymously. 13 months.
  • _ga_4XYY2R0VYR, first-party cookie on the aiginer.com domain (written by Google's script). Holds the state of the measurement session. 13 months.
  • Retention in Google Analytics: 2 months for event data; 14 months for data linked to a user (the cookie identifier).
  • International transfer: Google Ireland Limited may transfer data to Google LLC (US). It relies on the adequacy decision of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Google LLC is certified) and on standard contractual clauses. We have accepted the Google Ads Data Processing Terms (GDPR).
  • Where we do not measure: the contact cards (/c/ and /w/), the screen you see after paying for the training, the AI law test report screen (they carry order identifiers), the academy and the course.

Cookie-free measurement · Cloudflare Web Analytics · No consent

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying anyone: it stores nothing in your browser and does not follow you across websites. We treat it as our own technical measurement, which is why it does not ask for permission. It is independent of Google Analytics: the two coexist.

  • It does not use cross-site tracking cookies or persistent identifiers.
  • It does not identify or track individual users.
  • It only processes aggregated, anonymized data (visits, traffic source, country, device type).

Cloudflare Web Analytics is managed by Cloudflare, Inc. It does not use cookies, localStorage, or device fingerprinting: it measures visits in aggregate at the network edge. More information in its documentation (https://www.cloudflare.com/web-analytics/).

Marketing cookies · Opt-in · none currently in use

These would enable advertising retargeting, tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight, etc.), or campaign measurement. AIGiner does not currently install any marketing cookies and will never do so without your prior and explicit consent. Google Analytics is not used for advertising.

3. Types by duration

  • Session, deleted when the browser is closed. E.g.: build-recargado (sessionStorage).
  • Persistent, remain stored until they expire or you delete them. E.g.: aiginer-idioma (1 year), _ga and _ga_4XYY2R0VYR (13 months) and aiginer-consent (localStorage, 24 months; you can delete it whenever you want from the cookie manager).

4. Types by manager

  • First-party, managed directly by aiginer.com (aiginer-consent, aiginer-idioma).
  • On our domain but written by a third party's script (_ga and _ga_4XYY2R0VYR, from Google Analytics), analytics, require consent.
  • Third-party, managed by external providers:
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile and __cf_bm, anti-bot), necessary.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4, aggregate statistics), analytics, requires consent.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics (aggregated cookie-free measurement), does not require consent.

5. Quick summary

AIGiner does not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party social media cookies. The only third-party cookies that can reach your browser are Cloudflare's (anti-bot) and, only if you accept them, Google Analytics'.

6. How to manage your consent

  • 1. Banner on arrival. The first time you visit the site a banner appears with three options: "Necessary only", "Customize" (toggles per category), or "Accept all".
  • 2. Cookie manager. You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time from /gestor-cookies, with an independent toggle for each category. Withdrawing analytics deletes the _ga cookies.
  • 3. Browser settings. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. See your browser's guide: Chrome (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647) · Firefox (https://support.mozilla.org/en/kb/delete-cookies-remove-info-websites-stored) · Safari (https://support.apple.com/en-us/guide/safari/sfri11471/mac).
  • 4. Contact us. If you need help, write to us at privacy@aiginer.com.

7. Changes to this policy

AIGiner reserves the right to modify this Cookie Policy to adapt it to legislative developments, changes to our service providers, or modifications to the website. We will notify you if we update it substantially. If we change what sits behind a category that needs your permission, we ask you again. And we ask again at least every 24 months.
